In the first chapter, society, social norms and social values, which are the basic concepts of sociology, are explained in detail and the moral conception of the Islamic religion is discussed. In the second part, general information about the Surah Hucurat was given and the social-moral norms contained in the Surah were examined under the headings. In the surah, which begins with obedience to Allah and His Messenger, individual and social moral principles are emphasized; It was stated that behaviors such as mocking, nickname-taking, bad suspicion (su-i zan), scrutiny, backbiting and gossip disrupt the social order and peace, and it was requested to avoid such behaviors. The aim of this research is to explain the virtuous and civilized society model aimed at by the surah within the framework of the moral rules it contains.
