Gender friendly campus climates

It has been becoming increasingly important to create safe and gender friendly campus climates for women and LGBTQI+ individuals on university campuses. There are many research and studies carried out by university women's research centers, women's studies major programs and higher education institutions to create these environments. This study has examined attitudes regarding gender equality in Turkish and United States of America's campuses and how these two countries' universities approach sexual harassment and assault, bullying, stalking and date violence cases and what they do to stop or prevent these situations are compared within their own cultural and demographic structures.
