Abstract (EN)
This research aims to examine social movements and profiles of their participants (activists) through their emotions. In this direction, the research was carried out with 181 people who participated in various social movements on a voluntary basis. Data were obtained with Social Personality Characteristics, Individual Characteristics, Feeling of Confidence, Feeling of Anger, Feeling of Exclusion and Disappointment, Feeling of Hope(lessness), Feeling of Fear, Current Politics/Political Interest, Social Sensitivity/Awareness and Social Actions scales. SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 25.0.0; SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) program was used to examine the relationship between research variables. At the end of the study, it was seen that the age and gender of the participants affected the average levels of social personality traits, individual characteristics, feeling of anger, feeling of exclusion and disappointment, feeling of hope (despair), fear, and interest in current politics/politics. In addition, the sector in which the participant works; while social personality traits, feeling of hopelessness (hopelessness) and social movements affect group average levels; It has been observed that income, social personality traits and social movements also affect the average group levels, and the city in which they live has a similar effect on the group average levels in terms of social sensitivity/awareness. In addition, it was observed that marital status affected the group mean levels in terms of social personality traits, feelings of anger, and interest in current politics/politics. In addition, it was determined that the number of people in the family and the educational status did not affect any variable.
