Abstract (EN)

In order to actualize their aim in a period of time, Organizations create their own cultures. This created culture is called ?organization culture?. Eventhough the meaning of organization culture seems to be easily defined, it is comprised of discrete, intangible, untouchable, but only perceived norms. These norms bring the organization members under one mindset and dialectic. Standard of judgment has the biggest role during the development of organization cultures and changes from society to society so that can get from distinct cultures of different societies. For instance, while the employees in Turkey does not value competition very much, employees in Italy think that competition improves the quality and manufacturing and hence value competition more than Turkish employees. Also, depending on their belief system and their Ottoman customs, Turkish people are very fatalist and can even approach the worst situaiton at work with a fatalist mindset. Italians are very much like Turkish people, depending on their belief system, they are also very fatalist people and resemble to Turkish people in this context. After analyzing these two examples, it is certain that cultural values are formed by societies believes, languages and lifestyles and with time it creates common norms that affects organization members. At this point the theme of the paper is cultural values that change from society society and their affect on organization cultures.
