Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to investigate Bosniak parents' children in university who were exposed to social trauma in Sarajevo between 1992-1995 in the term of relationship between some socio-demographic variables and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and its sub-dimensions . For this purpose, the relationship between socio-demographic self-esteem and other sub-dimensions will be examined and whether there is a difference between the groups formed on the basis of socio-demographic information in terms of self-esteem and other sub-dimensions will be decided. The sample of this study consisted of 249 randomly selected students living in Sarajevo of which 117 are girls and 132 boys. The collection tools consist of the personal information form in which demographic information is obtained and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, which is used to measure self-esteem. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS.22 program. According to the findings of the study, self-esteem increases with the increase in the level of mother education; There are significant relationships between age, income, father education level and trust of other ethnic group members and self-esteem sub-dimensions. There was a difference in the degree of participation of female and male students in the discussions and the relationship with their fathers. The self-esteem level of students who were have not the jop and who were disturbed to enter crowded environments was found to be low. The findings were discussed in literature.
