Abstract (EN)

The main function of the packaging is to protect the product and store it in it. However, the changing perception of society has led to more complex tasks for packaging design. With the development of the lifestyle, mankind changed its habits, forcing designers to produce new and more functional packaging designs. In the last century, mankind has started to use artificial materials much more than natural materials. This led to the problem of nature, animals, environmentally sensitive, non-disposable packaging. Recently, we have encountered packages using different materials, different packaging knives, and many different graphics that can be called experimental. However, taking into account the changing perception of society, the designer should recognize the cultures, languages, alphabets and differences of different societies and carry out the packaging design according to the needs of the consumer. The content of this work, first of all, is to discuss the different dimensions of visual culture and visual forms, art and design in graphic design and explain the relationships between them and how they can change conceptually according to time, space, social layers. On this basis, visual culture and subheadings are defined in the first chapter based on the concept of culture. In the second part, visualizations and packaging definitions are made. In the third part, the packaging graph and its functions are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, creative content and new packaging formats are examined.
