Abstract (EN)
Gypsies are one of the most colorful peoples in the world and constitute the basic building block of our study. Gypsies are a society that has existed for centuries but whose existence seems to be ignored. The most important factor in making it seem like it doesn't exist is that they are despised and ignored by other communities. Because Gypsies have always been a society that has been criticized and avoided in terms of their way of life, clothing, appearance, religious beliefs and professions. In our study, it will be explained how the Gypsy society is handled in Classical Turkish Literature, which features are guests of the couplets, and how their lives are processed in historical texts, by taking the reasons for othering to the center. In the coming time, we will be able to see in the poems of years ago that the Gypsies always remained in place and that there was not much change in their lives and in this way, it will be revealed that this society, which has continued for centuries, has always been the same for centuries, has never changed, and that there has been no change in the perspective of other societies towards Gypsies.
