Özet (EN)

The intense interest in the use of renewable energy sources in the world and in our country has been increased the preference of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems for heating and cooling of residential and commercial spaces. Among the reasons that restrict the widespread use of GSHP systems are; high installation costs, difficulties in system design and control. The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the solution of these restricting factors by optimizing the design, installation and control of heating and cooling for an office by using the GHSP system with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). In addition, numerical simulation and analysis of this thermal system was carried out using the TRNSYS program. Within the scope of the thesis, the feasibility and accuracy of the methods developed for design, installation and control optimization were investigated by TRNSYS simulation program and experimental studies. Active heating, active cooling and passive cooling processes were carried out experimentally using the GSHP system with SCADA. The mean thermal performance coefficients of this thermal system were calculated as 3.5, 2.5 and 1.5, by using experimental data respectively, for active heating, active cooling and passive cooling applications. In the ground where the heat exchanger is buried, two-dimensional transient heat transfer problem is solved analytically by using CFFT (Complex Finite Fourier Transform) method, and annual periodic temperature distribution is obtained. The results obtained from the analytical study were found to be compatible with the results present in the literature. It is observed from this study that consumption of electiricity for the GSHP system with optimizing design parameters and control optimization reduces significantly. In this regard, it is thought that GSHP systems with SCADA control unit will be used widely in future in heating and cooling operations of buildings.
