Late years of 20th century, natural sources and habitats were mostly damaged by rapid inceasing population of earth and developed industry; polluted and because of these the case of enviromental problems became important. Nowadays the people are focused on sensitively by making people conscious of such an important case with legal arrengements, also scientific studies are proceeded. Scientific studies show that pollutants not only pollute the soil but also threat other receiving media. Underground water is the most important media. Examining and understanding the transportation behavior of VOCs, is very important, because VOCs are immigrate potentially to the root of plants, clean underground water and clean areas . The mechanism of transportation changes with characterization of multi-property soil, physical-chemical structure of pollutant VOC and the amount of water in the soil . In the thesis study, transportation and diffusion are examined at constant pressure and temperature with different transporter speed on Çanakkale Çan origined clay soil which is supplied by MTA. Ethyl bromide, dichloromethane and 1,1,1-trichloroethane are used as VOC. Also %10 humic acid is added by weight, for realizing conditions of proper stucture of soil for experimental results, to make organic compund. 2 and 3 chlorine containing organic pollutants make possible to observe affect of chlorine in detail. One-sided single-pellet moment technique is used for examining the parameters of adsoption and transportation of gases. Adsorption equilibrium constants of the three pollutants (?pKi) in natural caolin clay are found as following respectively; 1,526 for ethyl bromide, 1,485 for dichloromethane and 0,137 for 1,1,1-trichloroethane. Also, ın caolin clay with 10% humic acid by weight the adsorption equilibrium constants (?pKi) are found as the following respectively; 2,027 for ethyl bromid, 1,669 for dichloromethane and 0,491 for 1,1,1-trichloroethane. It was observed that the adsorption equilibrium constants increase as the number of chlorine in these pollutants decreaser. It may be thought that the cause of these is the difference between the dipole moments of the pollutants. The adsorption equilibrium constants obtained in dry conditions for the same pollutants in clay with organic additives are found higher than those in the natural caolin clay. Consequently, it was thought that there is a strong relationship between the content of organic materials in soil and the adsorption capacities of these materials for lots of organic chemicals.
