Abstract (EN)

In this study, Azotobacter vinelandii bacteria, which is isolated from the rhizosphere of the broad bean plant grown in Seyhan, Çukurova and Sarıçam districts of Adana province and has the ability to fix nitrogen, was used as a microbial fertilizer in lettuce cultivation. Lettuce was planted in randomized blocks in a trial design with 4 replications, with 60 plants in each replication (plot). In each plot (9.6 m2 / plot), 3 rows are arranged so that the distance between the rows is 40 cm, the rows are 40 cm, and the plots are 100 cm apart.Microbial fertilizer 200 (g/da) and 400 (g/da) was applied to the root part of the plant 4 times during planting, 3 weeks apart after planting. Lettuce length (cm), lettuce width (cm) and average lettuce weight (kg/10 heads), yield (kg/plot), yield (kg/da) and leaf number (pieces) in A.vinelandii treated plots compared to the control group. an increase has been detected. In accordance with the statistical results, N (%), P (%), K (%), Ca (%), Mg (%), Fe (ppm), Zn (ppm), Mn (ppm) and Cu in the lettuce in A.vinelandii treated plots compared to the control group. (ppm) values were increased. Keywords: Azotobacter vinelandii, lettuce, microbial fertilizer
