Abstract (EN)
In this review, we reviewed cases of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms with endovascular repair with clinical and laboratory findings. We evaluated postoperative leaks to the aneurysm sac (LEAK) together with comorbid diseases that affect mortality and morbidity. Sixty one cases who met the criteria were included in the study. The clinical information (history, history of cardiovascular disease, occupation, comorbidities) of the cases before the procedure and perioperative computed tomographic angiography (CTA) data performed in our clinic, length of hospital stay, and short and long-term clinical follow-up results were collected. The cases were evaluated as postoperative early period (first 1 month) and long term (first 1 year). During follow-up, neurological, pulmonary and cardiac complications, port site complications, distal embolizations, mesenteric ischemias were investigated and mortality data were collected. When the results we reached were examined; it was seen that occupational factors (mining) and chronic obstructive disease (COPD) in our cases could be important markers for the formation of leaks in aneurysms and that care should be taken (40,41,43-48). According to the literature, the female population in our total case group was found to be higher as a percentage (40,41,43-46). Diabetes, chronic obstructive disease and cardiac diseases were found to be higher in the cases compared to the literature (40,41,43-46). In addition, although COPD was high, the rate of smoking was found to be low compared to the literature (40,41,43-46). While emergency operation and mortality rates were high (40,47,48,50), the absence of late death and late gastrointestinal complications was remarkable (40,44-46).
