Özet (EN)
The cases of the patients with a variety of reasons applied to our hospital, who underwent computed tomography (CT) of the thorax with variety of clinical indications were retrospectively examined for thoracic and vascular variations or anomaly and was to determine the frequency of anomalies. In Fırat University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Radiology Department between October 2016 - April 2018, 8000 patients with contrasted Thorax CT for any reason were examined. Images of axial, coronal and sagittal sections were assessed with the aid of workstations. No variation or abnormality was detected in 6432 (80.4%) of 8.000 patients as we examined. In 1.568 patients, various vasculature variations or anomalies were monitored. Multiple variations were detected in some patients. Most vie wed variant appearance of the brachiocephalic artery and left main carotid artery were seen in 1184 patients (14.8%) (Bovin arch). In 196 patients (2.45%) vertebral arterial artery arises directly from the aorta, while in 116 patients (1.45%) aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA) appearance was monitored. Rarely 2 patients (0.02%) have right aortic arch, 1 patient have (0.01%) preductal aortic coarctation, 1 patient has (0.01%)Patent Ductus Arteriosis (PDA) anomaly, besides, double vena cava superior anomaly in 1 patient (0.01%), Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (PAPVR) anomaly in 1 patient (0.01%) and azygos in 45 patients (0.56%) lobe variation were detected by us. As a result, high-tech with the Multi Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT), thoracic vascular anomalies is possible to determine the correct diagnosis and treatment of patients may change, but also provide protection of the patient unnecessary additional examinations and surgical procedures.
