Özet (EN)

Currently, bilateral total thyroidectomy has been made for various indications . Patients are being discharged in the first or the second day after the surgery. However among the most common complications of the thyroidectomy causes prolonged the duration of hospitalization and resulting in additional cost with labor loss. In this study, our aim was to evaluate the hypocalcemia in early period using the intact parathormone as a biochemical indicator.
