Abstract (EN)

Nickel titanium alloys are porous and attract attention for biomaterial applications. NITI is highly preferred in the medical field due to its superelasticity, corrosion resistance, impact damping capacity, porous structure and biocompatibility with living tissue. In addition, NiTi alloys are not heavy and have mechanical values close to the bone. Powder metallurgy is a method that enables the production of metal powders of different shapes and sizes, parts with light weight, high performance and superior mechanical properties. During this process; The homogeneously mixed powders are filled into a mold, pressed as desired with the pressure desired to be designed in the mold, and the pressed particles are thermally bonded in a furnace by sintering method. The chemical composition of the material to be obtained by the powder metallurgy method is controlled and the material is produced close to its final shape without the need for additional production processes. In this thesis study, 53%Ni atomic ratio NiTi was produced by powder metallurgy method. The produced NiTi was coated with hydroxyapatite using the sol-gel dipping method. samples; It was produced by powder metallurgy method using different pressure and temperature, and its surfaces were coated with Hydroxyapatite by sol-gel method at different immersion speeds and holding times. Then optics, EDX, SEM (scanning electron microscopy) studies, density measurements were made and compression tests were carried out to examine the mechanical properties
