A research on the efficacy of pasture yield, quality and botany composition of different fertilizer applications on the Beypinari in Trabzon Duzkoy

This study was carried out to determine the effect of different combinations of different nitrogen doses with different on the botanical composition, herbage yield and herbage quality of a native pasture in Beypınarı mountain of Düzköy district, Trabzon. In the study different combinations of 5 nitrogen doses (0, 5, 10, 15 20 kg/da) with three phosphorus doses (0, 5, 10, kg/da) were Experiments were conducted during the vegetation period of 2014-2015 in factorial design in the rondomized blocks with 3 replications. The highest averaged dry herbage yield (827.3kg/da) was obtained from the plots applied 20 kg/da nitrogen and 10 kg/da phosphorus. The highest quality values were obtained from the teratment of 15 kg/da nitrogen and 10 kg/da phosphorus. Therefore, the treatment of 15 kg/da nitrogen and 10 kg/da phosphorus could be recommended for pastures of Trabzon province and those with similar ecological conditions. But due to one year results, it was concluded that, the study must be conducted one year mor efor the recommendation of an appropriate combination of fertilizers fort he mentioned pastures.
