Özet (EN)

To protect and improve their own health, individuals in the society must create healty life styles by gaining positive health attitude. According to the definition of World Health Organization (WHO), health does not only mean the lackness of diseases or disabilities,but it also means the physical, socialand psychological health. The base of health is adequate and balanced diet. Chronical diseases affect human life negatively. Whatever the type of chronical disease is, it causes people not to be able to perform their daily activities, the distortion of people's health and adverse impact on quality of life. Nowadays, it is said that chronical diseases due to eating habits cause %60 of deaths, %46 of diseases and it is estimated that in 2020, % 71 of total deaths in developing countries will occur due to is chemic hearth diseases,%75 of them will occur due to stroke ,% 70 will occur due to diabetes. The aim of this study is to evaluate the antropometric measurements, biochemical rates of blood,chronical disease state and life quality of women between the age of 20-64, who have consulted to dietary clinic of a private hospital in Trabzon. This study has been conducted with 156 participants who have consulted to dietary clinic between the dates of 1st May- 1st August 2014. To gather data about the levels of participants' life qualities, questionnaire form and SF 36 life quality scale have been used. The average weight of the people that have joined the study is 82,4-19,59 kg.%83,3 of rates of participants' waist circumferenceare in high risk.Waist/height and waist/hipwas not found a statistically significant relationship between. A significant relationship has been determined between fasting blood glucose and diabetes and cardiovasculer diseases. A significant relationship has been determined between waist/hip rates and hypertension, between typroid and other diseases, between waist/height rate and typroid, between BKİ and diabetes and cardiovasculer diseases. SF36 was used to evaluate the quality of life.Quality of life scale physical function subscale while the highest average social functioning subscale has the lowest average.
