The analysis of relations between Trakya Development Agency and municipalities

The projects carried out through the collaboration between the Trakya Development Agency and municipalities, which stand out in terms of regional development initiatives, also contribute to sustainable development. With their mutual collaboration, the Trakya Development Agency and municipalities take the lead in local development. The Agency announces various topics in its advertisements, and the relevant municipalities participate in this process by proposing and implementing projects. Municipalities, as one of the many stakeholders of the Agency, aim to provide services to all citizens in various fields through these efforts. Regional development agencies, such as the Agency and similar regional institutions, are best positioned to identify local issues. In terms of national development, regional development takes precedence, and identifying needs and solutions is crucial. In this regard, municipalities and agencies are stakeholders that make significant contributions to regional development, which in turn contributes to national development. This research aims to analyze the relationships within projects of the Trakya Development Agency, which operates specifically in the Tekirdağ, Edirne, and Kırklareli provinces of the TR21 region. Although the stakeholders of the Agency are only municipalities, the projects have a wide target audience and impact area, aiming to reach all citizens.
