Abstract (EN)
Tha aim of this study is to investigate the biological treatment of synthetic dyes, at a low cost and in the shortest possible time, which are used expecially dye and textile industries and are an important polluting agent in the waste water dumped into the environment by these industries. For this purpose, Trametes versicolor?s, white rot fungus, dye decolorizing activity on reactive dyes (.Black 5, R.Blue 19 and R. Red 194) which are anyonic was examined. To identify a maximum decolorization, misel süspensions were added into the synthetic textile waste water which was prepared under laboratory conditions using different dye concentrations. In this study, which was carried out under agitated and static conditions; in agitated cultures after 4 days decolorization rate were % 97 for R.Black 5, % 93 for R.Blue 19 and % 92 for R.Red 194, after 14 days this rate for static studies were obtained as % 93, % 87 and % 79, respectively. The ability of fungus to eliminate synthetic dyes from the environment by metabolizing them at high levels was identified through COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). Keywords: Textile Dyes, White Rot Fungus, Trametes versicolor, Decolorization.
