Abstract (EN)
Located at the mouth of the Red Sea, the Republic of Djibouti controls with Yemen the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb between the Arabian Peninsula and the coasts of East Africa. This geostrategic position at the crossroads of two continents gives it the status of a meeting ground. The liberal commercial regime that applies there for a very long time relies on perfectly modern port infrastructures which allow to have a real commercial platform. The country plays the card of a natural bridge between an Africa, which abounds in raw materials, and an Arabian Peninsula whose investment capacity is one of the highest in the world. Thus, this dual membership of these two blocks is an undeniable advantage and the key to sustainable development. The Republic of Djibouti has made the development of the transport chain a national priority. From the beginning of the last century until the 1960s, the activity of the transport sector suffered a significant contraction in the 1980s and 1990s, due in particular to competition, and the weakness of port infrastructure and the last ten years Djibouti has developed their sector of servıces and 80importation and exportation pass through of Djibouti port nowadays the sectors Air Djibouti has not developed but recently in 2015 Air Djibouti start flying in different destination such as Addis Ababa, Yemen, and Somalia. Additionally, the sector road of Djıbouti has always a difficult to develop because of the truck Ethiopia and their experience in the market. Finally, the railways sector of Djibouti has started working in 2018 up now and this news sector activity will increase the development of the countries.
