Abstract (EN)

In this study, PMSM's (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) speed and position are controlled by using (P) proportional and (PI) proportional-integral controller. P and PI controllers are used for position control and speed control, respectively. Trial- and-error method can be seen as an easy method in order to determination of conventional controllers within scope of coefficients P and PI controllers. The coefficients will be tested one by one manual but at this time both these operations manual requires a long time and also finding the suitable coefficients is extremely difficult. Except this method, analytic methods are developed. These methods are incapable on such that PMSM systems. For this reason these parameters are defined as using genetic search algorithms in this study. In addition, trapezoidal and sinusoidal reference current is applied to the system and simulation studies are achieved for the performance of the proposed control systems under different speed and position conditions and at the same time speed and position comparisons are realized. Studies show that; both the speed and position control, sinusoidal reference current application has given better results and this is shown by simulation studies.
