Abstract (EN)

Plant diseases have caused great trouble for humanity throughout history. Humans have been interacting with plants since the beginning of time. This interaction has increased much more with agriculture. Plants, which were previously used for basic life needs such as food, raw materials, and firewood, began to be utilized for various purposes with the development of humanity. Vast cities were built due to the increasing population. With the advancement of technology, multi-storey and dense buildings began to be built. While people lived in sparsely populated areas, they now began to live in denser settlements. People who used to live in nature have now begun to create natural areas in the cities where they live. Plants are no longer seen as just raw materials. In cities, plants have begun to be used for different functions in recreational areas, roadsides, parks, gardens and many social areas. Plant trade between countries has increased. In international trade, wood raw material has been frequently used in the production of products such as crates and pallets. Forests have begun to be used more frequently to meet the needs of the increasing population. The need for wood raw material has increased over time. Trees located in some historically and geographically special areas have turned into monuments that have special meaning for people and have become very valuable spiritually. Considering all these, the value of plants has increased in different aspects over time. The factors that cause diseases in plants have become more noticeable. Fighting these factors has become more important day by day. People have started to fight these diseases with trial and error methods, and traditional methods that have been developed until today have been developed. However, due to the negative aspects of these methods, alternative and better-performing methods have begun to be sought today. The ''tree injection'' method is one of these methods. In this study, injection methods, their advantages, disadvantages and comparison with traditional methods are discussed.
