The musical analysis of the deyishs and semahs existed in TRT repertoire and their study in terms of the education of values

The deyishs and semahs are one of the most important kinds of the religious Turkish folk music dealing with a lot of religious and social issues. From this aspect, it's worthy to study the subject. The religious and social subjects in its content will play an important role for the social peace, tolerance to reach every social stratum. In this study; the etymology, origins, peculiarities and definitions of the deyishs and semahs are exhibitied , and the opuses are subject of this survey within the context of "seyir-makam's" and "ryhtmic structures". All data and the results have been given in charts. In the second part of the study, the value and the education are identified. Eighteen opuses selected from the deyishs and semahs we have studied within the scope of these definitions have been analyzed concerning the education of the values, and the obtained results are depicted in the form of the charts.
