Examining the child television programs which are broadcasted on TRT television in terms of musical education

The main purpose of this study is, to determine situation of child television programs which are broadcasted on TRT television in terms of musical education, to interpret those situations and to give suggestions when needed.For this purpose, in order to gather their point of views semi-structured interview method was conducted to 9 of managers, directors, co-directors and program producers who prepared child television programs for TRT television in 2007-2008 broadcast session.As a consequence of collected data, when ?Examining the Child Television Programs Which are Broadcasted on TRT Television in terms of Musical Education?; any musical education program were not found which prepares child television programs for children in TRT television. However, in the child television programs broadcasted in TRT television music is used for education and fun.Key Words: Musical Education, Television Programs for Children
