Abstract (EN)
This study examines electric car technology, government incentives and green environmental factors that affect consumers' intention to purchase an electric car. Within the scope of a quantitative study, the data obtained from 331 participants were analyzed to identify causal relationships within the data. According to the analysis, it is discovered that women have more green environmental concerns than men, and men make purchases according to the cost factor. Regression analyses also revealed that there is a positive relationship between the purchase intention of consumers in Turkiye and cost, range and charging infrastructure; while green environmental concern does not demonstrate a relationship with purchase intention. The reasons for the purchase of electric vehicles by consumers in Turkiye are thoroughly discussed.
