Comparative analysis of red meat and poultry buying trends by consumers' income groups: Case study of Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa district

A total of 167 participants participated in the study to determine the characteristics and characteristics of red meat and chicken meat consumption in Süleymanpaşa District of Tekirdağ Province and to investigate the effect of material conditions such as income status on these consumption preferences. In the study, data were collected through a multiple-choice and likert-type questionnaire, which included information about thesocio-demographic characteristics of the participants and information on their preferences for red meat and chicken meat consumption. As a result of the study, it was observed that the participants consumed red meat and chicken meat and their income status had an effect on this consumption. As a result of this search, it is seen that the monthly income and expenditure level of the participants and the ones with lowlevel of expense in the kitchen spending give the highest price to the purchase of red meat and chicken meat.
