Abstract (EN)
This research focuses on the behavioral intention of consumers and their perceptions affecting this intention. The aim of this study is to examine the roles of consumers' perceptions before technology usage behavior in the process of technology adoption. The motivation and main problem of this research is to determine the factors that drive users to use technology when it comes to new technologies. Accordingly, in this research, user perceptions in terms of mobile payment systems were determined and a respective structural model was formed. In the process of forming the model, behavioral theories and technology acceptance models in the literature formed the basis for this research. Data were collected using online survey method, which resulted in a sampling of 485 people. For the application of structural equation modeling, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted for the validity of the measurement model, and path analysis was performed using the structural model determined after the model fit indices and the discriminant and convergent validity criteria were controlled. The resulting model includes intention to use, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, social influence, perceived compatibility and perceived security variables. As a result of this research, it was concluded that the factor which best describes the intention to use is perceived compatibility, perceived trust and security considerably effect the other perceptions, and social influence has a strong effect on perceptions of usefulness and ease of use even if it does not directly affect the intention to use.
