Bronz Age in Kırşehir

Anatolia due to its geographical location, has hosted many civilizations throughout history. Anatolian Peninsula, in every period of history because of the location and natural resources has become a preferred place. Position as a bridge between the continents of Asia and Europe, the Anatolian Peninsula, in the development of human history has witnessed.It ıs certain that Kırşehir, located on this ground hosted to the various civilizations and powers. On this region some civilizations made many and various activities and have left many works. There is less information about the past of Kırşehir comparing to the other Anatolian cities. Many periods and the owner of the some works are not known completely. This is because the sources is less due to the lack of research studies on the history of Kırşehir.The purpose of this study is to reveal the status of Bronze Age of Kırşehir and its environment and supply a source for the people making research in future. Particulary unlike the other written documents about Kırşehir, this is not written with limiting the history of city in its borders but also its relations with its environment and regions are regarded.Keywords: Central Anatolia, Kırşehir, Bronze Age, Kızılırmak
