The Luwian communities in Western Anatolia during the Bronze Age

The Luwians are a Bronze Bronze Age group located within the borders of today's Turkey, from the northwest of Anatolia, including the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, to Western Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia. Age of Civilization. Especially in the Late Chalcolithic (ca. 5000-4000 BC), Western Anatolia became one of the places frequented by a wave of migration that spread to Anatolia. The researchers, who expressed their opinion that these peoples, who were Indo-European in terms of the language they spoke, came from Anatolia, the Balkans or the Caucasus, made their research on language, onomastic and archaeological evidence, since there was no written source for the period. B.C. Since 2000, Luwian origin people, gods and place names have started to appear in various parts of Anatolia. This study, which we have done with limited resources, about this civilization, which was divided into many kingdoms due to the geographical features of Western Anatolia and its lack of a political central government, consists of four parts. In the first part, where the Luwians came to the Anatolian geography and the opinions put forward on their origins are evaluated, in the second part, the geography where the Luwian culture spread in Western Anatolia is discussed. In the third chapter, information is given about the relations of the Hittite kings with the Luwian kingdoms mentioned in their annals, while in the fourth chapter, Arzava is the center, Mira- Kuwaliya, Seha River Country, Wilusa, Hapalla, Pedassa (Pitassa), Masa Country, Lukka, Karkisa, Tarhundassa and Kizzuwatna.
