Abstract (EN)

In the study, the ethnocentric tendency levels of the consumers were measured by the Cetscale scale and the ethnocentric tendency levels were related to the sociodemographic characteristics (age, sex, marital status, educational status) such as Baby Boom (1945-1965), X (1965-1977) ) have been analyzed comparatively by consumers. CETSCALE (Consumer Ethnocentrism Tendency Scale), a scale developed by Shimp and Sharma in 1987, which has proven to be reliable and validated by many international researches, has been used to measure the ethnocentric tendency levels of consumers in the study. Expressions included in the scale were delivered to the participant using the likert type scale of 5. The socio-demographic characteristics of the consumers were measured in terms of age, gender, marital status, educational status, questions on the nominal (class) scale type. As a result, there was a difference between ethnocentrism levels according to the generations of the participants. In addition, age groups, marital status, sex, and education levels of participants are different in enthonceptibility levels.
