Abstract (EN)

This research aiming at determining the effect of ethical climate perception on organizational trust, targeted the academic staff working in the tourism departments of universities being the member of West Blacksea Universities Union. Within the scope of the research, 301 academic staff working in seven universities have constituted the target population of the research. The data of the research have been collected by using the questionnaire technique, one of the quantitative research methods. Data have been analyzed with SPSS 18 program, and demographic features, frequency analysis, analysis techniques that study correlation between variables and differences and hypotheses have been tested and the questions of the research have been tried to answer. As a result of this analyses, it has been determined that ethical climate and organizational trust perception have been positively perceived by the participants taking part in the research on the basis of the organizations they work and that - with the exception of social responsibility awareness dimension - all the other dimensions (Self-Interest, Personal Morality and Team Interest) have been effective in the formation of confidence to the institution.Keywords: Ethics, Ethical Climate, Trust, Organizational Trust.
