Abstract (EN)

The seasonality of the tourism sector brings with it many problems in the short term in tourism accommodation businesses. Of course, the most important of these problems is determined by the negative effects of the working conditions of the employees. Today, in organizations with a clear institutional structure, the feature of having an effective leader emerges as the most important fact of solving problems. In this context; Seasonal leaders are needed in order to minimize the problems experienced in the seasonal process in tourism accommodation businesses. This study is important to meet a different need in order to fill an important gap in the tourism sector when considered from this point of view. This relationship model created for the research has been tried to be discussed within the framework of the conservation of resources (COR) theory. In this study, five-star hotels operating in Antalya, where seasonal activities and seasonal workers are concentrated, constitute the application area. In the study, a questionnaire was applied to the participants. The data obtained from the employees were entered into the SPSS 22 package program and the Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) data analysis program was used in the analysis phase of the data. In this study, it was tested with structural equation modeling (SEM) to reveal the relationships between variables. It was determined that the findings obtained as a result of structural equation modeling (SEM) revealed a mediating effect of work alienation and workplace ostracism between SEL and intention to leave. In the literature research, no similar study was found in terms of the subject of this study. From this point of view, it is thought that this study will make a great contribution to the literature.
