Abstract (EN)
Tourist destinations, recognizing the importance of branding in the competitive environment, by developing new strategies can increase touristic demand in the desired direction. Destinations which can create such difference are moving toward establishing a strong destination brand by positive and appropriate strategies. The purpose of this research, in this context, is to demonstrate the importance of destination branding, determine the role of destination branding in touristic purchasing, also to evaluate how Beypazarı branding efforts are perceived and the contributions of this perceptions in the city branding. In the research domestic visitors who visit Beypazarı is determined as the universe, due to the difficulty of reaching all individuals in the universe a sample of domestic visitors who visited Beypazarı in 2011 was selected. The data collected in survey method, have been analyzed and interpreted using statistical techniques and made a variety of proposals. According to findings from the research, domestic visitors who visit Beypazarı have statistically significant destination branding perceptions differentiated through gender, age groups, education and income levels.Keywords: Touristic destinations, destination brand formation, brand, Beypazarı
