The examination of the works is limited to the works of Turkish composers recorded in the inventory of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra. In the first chapter, the definition of clarinet and bass clarinet and the historical development process are mentioned, and the place and importance of clarinet in music are mentioned. In the second chapter, the contemporary Turkish music revolution that came with the proclamation of the Republic is discussed, the lives of the Turkish Five, who emerged with the effect of this development, are analyzed, and the second, third and fourth generation Turkish composers who followed them are briefly mentioned. In the third part, it was determined whether the Turkish composers whose works are in the inventory of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra used the bass clarinet in their works, and the status and factors of the use of the bass clarinet in polyphonic Turkish music. In the data obtained as a result of the researches, it is tried to be analyzed that the tendency of Turkish composers to prefer bass clarinet in orchestral works may have revealed differences based on periodical, educational and other reasons.
