Özet (EN)
The abolished article 250 of the Criminal Procedure Law No. 5271 have been rearranged with Article 23 of the Law No. 7188 on the Amendment of Criminal Procedure and Some Laws. Thus, "Serial Judgement Procedure" has been included in our legal system as a alternative solution method. The relevant procedure has started to be implemented as of 01.01.2020 and is foreseen as an alternative solution method to the classical criminal procedure. Serial judgement procedure, which is a special type of trial, finds application in terms of catalogue offences which listed in the law under certain conditions and results in the acceptance of the suspect. With the serial judgement procedure, the public prosecutor has been given the authority to determine sanctions, which has not been seen before in the Turkish Legal System. The goals, conditions of operation and operation results of the method together with its connections to similar institutions are investigated in our work. The examination of the method has been done in scope of right to a fair trial by making an assessment in terms of comparative law.
