Özet (EN)
In this study, three dimensional seismic analysis is carried out for variable height of buildings, on the samples of different geometric properties of the structure,. The analysis is performed according to the ?Mode Superposition Method? and the ?Equivalent Static Loads Method using the ETABS computer program. Depending on varying structural height, relation between the results obtained from these two methods is investigated. Thus, validity of the limits for the application of the Equivalent Static Loads Method that are specified in the Turkish Building Codes 2007 is investigated. In the study, calculation of internal forces in direction of elements principal axis is also examined.
