Abstract (EN)
The concept of foreign policy, the designation factor of relations among states, has been reshaped and in the light of theories which appeals in international relations and every new theory assets foreign policy differently. However the foreign policy theory isn?t a separate discipline it must be evaluated in the perspective of international relations theory.In this context, the subject of this study: to research the theoretical side of the concept of foreign policy and make an analysis of the foreign policy approaches in the light of these theories. As a result after these theoretical researches in which theory can be explained of the activities of Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and also the impacts of TIKA in Turkish foreign policy constitute this thesis main body. In this context the aims of this study can be expressed as:(a)First, the definition of foreign policy is researched and made of an explanation of foreign policy theories. What are these theoretical perspectives and which kinds of doctrinaire differences are there among them?(b)In which theory TIKA?s activities and development can be evaluated and what are the impacts of TIKA?s in Turkish foreign policy?Case study and interview methods have been used as method while researching the answers of these questions to analyze TIKA?s activities and research the impact on Turkish foreign policy.As a result of these studies, it has been reached the conclusion that TIKA?s activities and development could be evaluated in constructivist foreign policy theory and TIKA, acts intensively in international arena, has made a positive acceleration on Turkish foreign policy.
