An analysis of the structural transformation of the Turkish foreign trade (2002-2016)

Turkey's economy since 1980, adopting the strategy of import substitution open economy exported strategy instead of export-oriented economy has implemented their policies. In this study, in the first section, the theories and policies of foreign trade in general this concept, then in the second part, Turkey's foreign trade and are given information about the types. In the third part, the 2002-2016 period is applied in Turkey's total foreign trade foreign trade policy of GDP and whether a meaningful influence on the econometric analysis done.
