Abstract (EN)
The Turkic world represents a civilization that has historically spanned a vast geography, characterized by its shared cultural heritage and strong bonds. Today, strengthening social, economic, and cultural ties among the independent Turkic states is of great importance for preserving their common heritage and carrying it forward into the future. In this context, the Zangezur Corridor stands out as a strategic initiative that will geographically connect the Republic of Türkiye with Turkic states, fostering collaboration and solidarity. With the implementation of the Zangezur Corridor, Türkiye will gain a direct land connection to the Central Asian Turkic Republics via Azerbaijan. This development will accelerate economic integration in the region, creating new opportunities in energy and trade sectors. Additionally, the opening of the corridor will deepen cultural ties among the Turkic countries, enhancing cooperation in areas such as language, history, and arts. The corridor not only promises economic benefits but also contributes to regional peace and stability. This study explores the historical and geographical significance of the Turkic world and analyzes how the Zangezur Corridor will strengthen social, economic, and cultural connections between Türkiye and the Turkic states. The Zangezur Corridor is a vital project that supports the unity of the Turkic world and aims to advance this unity further in the future.
