Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was tried to investigate the problems experienced by the Education Managers about Administrative Appointment Regulation and Merit System in Turkish Education System. The research is a descriptive qualitative research with a descriptive case study design. As an example, a convenient sampling technique was used. 7 School Administrators willing to participate in the study from school administrators who worked at public schools in Konyaalti district of Antalya Province were selected as working group. The data were collected through individual interview technique and legislation based documents. The interviews with the semi-structured interview forms for 30-45 minutes were recorded and descriptively analyzed and the opinions were categorized under main and sub themes. The results of the research include findings reflecting the views of School Administrators under the themes mentioned, and these findings provide clues about how to understand the administrative problems experienced by School Administrators and how to solve these problems.
