Özet (EN)
This study contributes to our knowledge of how exporting entrepreneurs internationalize. Specifically, this research aims to determine factors that influence Turkish entrepreneurs' exporting activity using GEM data. In this study, the data of 5547 Turkish entrepreneurs, aged between 18-64 years old were analyzed using logistic regression since the dependent variable and most variables have binary values. The research model of this study combines four classes of factors which are: entrepreneurs' intellectual and social capital, motivation, perception, and the newness of the technology. The results of the study show that entrepreneurs' intellectual and social capital, motivation, and newness of technology are the significant factors that influence Turkish entrepreneurs' exporting activity. This study fills a gap in the empirical literature on Turkish exporting entrepreneurs.
