Abstract (EN)

In this study, the literary work of Eflatun Cem Güney which is Once Upon A Time (Evvel Zaman İçinde) and the literary work of Naki Tezel which is Turkish Tales I and II (Türk Masalları I ve II) have been examined.The main purpose of the study is to find out and to classify the stereotyped expressions like the proverbs, idioms, descriptive words, formals etc.In this context, the definitions and classifications of the Turcologists on the subject have been given in the study. The stereotyped expressions and the statements in the relevant fairy-tale books that meet these classifications have been examined. The ones which are not used by Turkish Language Institution have been handled in a separate section.İn this study, distinction between examples and definitions of genres which was analyzed under the heading of "Pattern Expressions" was carried out.Also in this study, the sound and meaning properties of the stereotype expressions , which have been found by classifying in the fairy-tale books, have been mentioned.
