Examination of professional football player contracts in turkish legal system

Professional footballer agreement is a contract signed between the athletes who want to play football professionally and the clubs that have football branches within themselves.Professional footballer contracts which have the characteristics of the employment contract are arranged by the instructions that Turkey Football Federation specifies.It creates a mutual debt and rights relationship between the parties of the agreement and it is essential that the parties comply with them.Disputes that may arise during or at the end of contracts are considered by the dispute adjudication board established by TFF and the parties have right to apply to the arbitration board against the decision of this board.The aim of this study is to investigate the legal relationship between the football clubs and professional footballers in Turkey where football has a great interest.In line with this purpose it is investigated under titles such as; transfer of a footballer to a club or professional footballer contracts which legally formalized the current footballer's continue playing in the same club,footballer employment contract and it is concepts,rights and debts arising from contract,professional footballer contract,end of the contract and its outcomes , settlement of disputes.
