Phonological and neurolinguistic development of words used for the counting numbers in Turkish dialects

Number words emerged with the development of the symbolic thinking ability of humanity and the conversion of quantitative expressions into phonetic representations by humans. The hereditary factor in the formation of number words is mutations in the FOXP2 gene. This hereditary factor has been supported biologically by developments in the Broca and Wernicke areas of the brain. At the end of this development process, number words began to be used in a modern sense from the beginning of the era known as the Grammarization Period in the history of linguistic development. In this study, phonemorphological development tables were created by using the possibilities of phoneme theory. In this way, the Nostratic forms of the counting number words used in Turkish were tried to be determined. While doing this, phonetic forms in different Nostratic languages were analyzed by comparison technique, and as a result of these analyzes, word reconstructions were designed. As a result of these reconstructions, it was concluded that the numbers from one to five and the numbers "ten" and "hundred" in Turkish were brought completely from the Nostratic Period. In addition, "twenty", "thirty", "forty" and "fifty", the ten equivalents of numbers from one to five, have structures brought from the Nostratic Period due to the roots of single-digit numbers from which they are derived. In addition, "sixty" and "seventy" numbers have the +mIX form, which is a Nostratic heritage and makes decimal number words, while "eight" and nine" numbers have as a Nostratic heritage +̊r > +̊z. All these are solid proofs that Turkish is a Nostratic language. Therefore, this study is an antithesis against the views of researchers who do not believe in the existence of the Altaic language family. As a matter of fact, in this study, it has been tried to prove that the "dissimilarity of number words", which is an argument based on the researchers who oppose the Altaic language theory, is actually a mistake.
