Abstract (EN)

In this study, the aim is to determine the violin education repertoire at the undergraduate level in Turkish Music and to contribute to the students to reach a better level in the lessons with the sample works and studies presented. Violin is included in the string instruments group of our Traditional Turkish Music instruments. In the first stage of this repertoire study, the subject was handled with a situation-determining approach and a title which reveals the name and content of the thesis was determined. The literature was reviewed in terms of the general framework, purpose and method of the study. The research is a qualitative and descriptive research. In the second stage of the research, the sources related to the subject were scanned within the framework of the title determined. The quartet and quintet works of the makams written in accordance with the specified repertoire titles, studies and sample instrumental works selected from the TRT Repertoire were described in detail. It was concluded that the person performing the violin instrument should have a good hearing and a good command of the reed and that the violin is an instrument that must be played correctly. In the third stage of the study, taking into account the four-year undergraduate education of the violin, repertoire titles, theory and performance details, etudes, longas, sirtos, pesrevs and saz semai were created according to the level of each class. In this way, it is thought that the student's mastery of his instrument will reach the desired level. This repertoire, which is prepared according to the undergraduate level of violin education given in the Traditional Turkish Music Conservatories, aims to contribute to the students. Keywords: Violin, TRT repertoire, education, Turkish music, conservatory.
