Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to develop a scale that can be used in the undergraduate level state conservatories providing Turkish music education, which can be used to determine the attitudes of the 3rd and 4th year students performing Turkish art music instruments towards the performance of the division. It is considered that there is no measurement tool that can measure student attitude at the undergraduate level for performing Taksim, and it will be necessary to measure attitudes towards performing tax accordingly with a valid and reliable measurement tool. In addition, this scale is important in terms of its contribution to the field of Turkish music, as it is the first scale to be developed for performing taxim in Turkish music. The research population in Turkey in the license under which the Turkish state conservatory of music education, instruments of Turkish classical music performers 3rd and 4th grade is composed of use. Firstly, the state conservatory, which provides Turkish music education, to a group of 40 students in total in the 3rd and 4th grade, "What are your feelings, thoughts and opinions about performing Taksim?" a composition with the theme has been published. Subsequently, items that could be an attitude sentence from the pool of items were prepared for the scale and presented to the experts' opinions. Accordingly the 59-item trial form of the scale was applied to a total of 307 people studying in 15 randomly selected universities, and a 32-item final form was created as a result of exploratory factor analysis to determine the construct validity. The data obtained were analyzed in accordance with the steps of the scale development process. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient for the whole scale is 0.919, and the test-retest-test reliability coefficient is r=0,66, p<.05. As a result of the analyzes, a scale with validity and reliability was developed, consisting of a total of 2 sub-dimensions and 32 items, namely "positive attitudes" and "negative attitudes", that can measure the attitudes of undergraduate 3rd and 4th grade students towards division.
