After the soviet union falls apart, the poverty hits the women the most. Russian women had to go out of their country and find different jobs, for the first time in their lives. After the opening Sarp Gates in 1989, they came the nearest cities to them: Artvin, Rize, Trabzon. After their arrival, East Black Sea Region had a social trauma because the women came from russia, saying Natasha, are seemed to be the women who crushes faimilies, by the local women. But still, turkish men and russian women had romantic but dramatic relationships. Of course these were dramatics because the russian women and contreversial turkish men could not get along well together despite their love, they had a lot of differences on religion, on politics etc.
