The subject of this study was determined as the activities of independent Deputies of the Republic of Turkey between 1923 and 2002. Firstly, between 1923 and 2002 Independent deputies in which periods to enter the elections independently, independent continue, independent enter and complete with a party and enter with a party and end independently were revealed. Besides, The province where independent deputies were elected as deputies, the period in which independent deputies were elected, their professions, educational status, backgrounds and parliamentary activities were outlined. Thesis study covers between second and twenty-third periods of TBMM. Biographies of independent deputies who served between 1923 and 2002 were revealed. And By determining the province where deputies were elected, the period in which they were elected, their parties, professions and activities of the assembly, the number of independent deputy according to periods, explanations were made.
