Abstract (EN)
We are in an age of increased human mobility as well as goods and services, where the impact of globalization is felt in almost every field. Asignificant part of this mobility is forcedmigrations. The subject of his study is the role of religiosity in" accepting and entegration" Syrianmigrants in Turkish society. With migration, the communities of two different countries came together. In the example of Gaziantep, our main problem is the question of whether there is a differentiation in the dimensions of religiosity, belief, social impact-morality and worship in the "acceptance and entegration" of Syrian immigrants. Our study is important in terms of addressing the role of religion and religiosity in the "acceptance and entegration" of Syrian immigrants and making a modest contribution to the relevant literature. This study, in which the quantitative research method is used, is based on literature review and field research. For this purpose, we developed the "religiosity scale" and the "acceptance and entegration " scale of Syrian immigrants based on the relevant literature. In order to achieve the purpose of our study, a survey was conducted in 116 neighborhoods of Gaziantep by random sample. The data wereprocessed and analyzed within the framework of the SPSS program. As a result of the analyzes, it has been determined that our religiosity scale has three dimensions: belief, social influence- morality and worship. The acceptance and entegration scale has been determined as five dimensions: acceptance, entegration, xenophobia, humanitarian attitude and rights-based approach. Relationships between dimensions were analyzed. As a result, no significant correration was found between the demographic variables and the "acceptance and entegration" of Syrian immigrants. A significant difference was found between political preferences. It has been determined that religiosity has a facilitating role in the "acceptance and entegration" of Syrian immigrants. Keywords: Immigration, acceptance, entegration, religion, religiosity
