Abstract (EN)

The Analysis called Religious and Ethic Values in Readings in Turkish Schoolbooks consist of five parts. In the first part, the study identify the problem situation and reasons also we give the study an aim, importance and a delimitation. In the second part, the values are analyzed. Within this scope we study the definition, the meaning and importance of value education and the gains which are wanted to be reached. The values have been classified and the variety of values has been researched. It has been discussed how value education can effect character education, while analyzing the role of values in character education. The third part deals with the importance and necessity of Turkish schoolbooks. This study part indicates what the readings of the most important parts in the books should have included. Later, the text types of the schoolbooks are identified and a table has been tabularized in terms of what type of text is in which book and also how many types are included. Furthermore, the features and contents are discussed. In the fourth part of the study, it emphasizes in detail on the religious values in terms of what they are, what they include and how they are treat them in Turkish schoolbooks. The readings of the Turkish schoolbooks published from the Ministry of education have been analyzed and the religious values have been tabularized. The determinated religious values in reading texts of turkish Schoolbooks are utilized in the way they are figured in the Koran. In the last part of the study include the conclusion of the study.
