The Relationship between achievements level in turkish lessons with multiple intelligence areas

This research investigated the relationship between achievements levels inTurkish and multiple intelligence areas of students in the eighth grade.The investigation was conducted on the eighth grade students of KastamonuSeker School and Taskopru Muzafferittin Gazi School in the academic year of 2005-2006.The Goal of the Research:1. To display participant student?s areas of intelligence.2. To display the relationship between the Intelligence the grades of Turkishlesson of the participant students.3. To determine methods that will be used to increase achievement inTurkish lesson.In this research multiple intelligence survey? delivered to 84 students and thedata of this survey was analyzed after taking the ideas, observations and approvals of theteachers.The results of the research are summarised below:1. Students, who have strong verbal intelligence, are more successful inTurkish lesson.2. Students, who have strong logical - mathematical intelligence, are moresuccessful in Turkish lesson.iv3. Students, who have strong physical and kinetic intelligence, are moresuccessful in Turkish lesson.4. A remarkable relation hasn?t determined of between other intelligence areasand Turkish lesson notes.At the end of the research it has been clearly found out that there are expressiverelationship between achievements in Turkish and multiple intelligence areas.Key Words: Multiple Intelligence, Turkish Language Teaching, the Level ofSuccess.
